Due to a decrease in the number of flu cases across the region, all Rochester Regional Health hospitals (Clifton Springs, Newark-Wayne, Rochester General, United Memorial and Unity) will lift visitor restrictions at 8 am on Wednesday, April 25.
The decision to lift visitor restrictions is a coordinated effort by all hospitals in Monroe County.
What you need to know:
- This does not impact the flu masking requirement for employees who did not receive a flu vaccine.
- Unvaccinated RRH employees must still wear a mask in all patient areas until the New York State Department of Health declares influenza is no longer prevalent in New York.
- All RRH employees should continue to wear their 2017/2018 FLU STOPS HERE badge prominently.
