May 17, 2018
Following an unusually active flu season in our region, across the state and nationally, we are pleased to announce that the New York State Department of Health commissioner has declared influenza is no longer prevalent in New York State.
This means, as of today, Thursday, May 17, the flu masking requirement for unvaccinated Rochester Regional Health employees is no longer in effect.
- Please continue to wear your FLU STOPS HERE badge backer until a new one is issued next flu season
- Visitors with fever or respiratory illness symptoms should still delay their hospital visits until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours
Thank you again for your attentive care throughout the 2017/18 flu campaign.
