Rochester Regional Health welcomes Nicholas J. Day, MD, to our healthcare family. Dr. Day has joined the gastroenterology team and will be providing care at both Newark-Wayne and Clifton Springs hospitals. Dr. Day will be performing a full range of gastroenterology procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. He has expertise in all gastroenterology systems, including diagnosis and management of esophageal and stomach diseases, small intestinal and colonic diseases, as well as diseases relating to the pancreas and liver.
Dr. Day earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan Health System– University Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI, and a fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center–Strong Memorial Hospital.
He is board certified in internal medicine and also certified in advance cardiac life support by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
