Rochester Regional Health is pleased to announce two key leadership appointments that emphasize the importance that the organization is placing on optimizing the power of CareConnect.
Balazs Zsenits, MD, has been named chief medical information officer, Rochester Regional Health and will report to Robert Mayo, MD, chief medical officer, Rochester Regional Health. Dr. Zsenits joined Rochester Regional in 2002 and most recently served as associate chief medical officer of medical informatics and utilization. He has worked on the development of the electronic medical records for over a decade and is board certified in Clinical Informatics.
In addition, Matt Phillips, MBA, has accepted the position of VP of Health Informatics, Rochester Regional Health and will report to both Dr. Zsenits and Paula Tinch, CPA, PAHM, senior vice president, Finance, Rochester Regional Health. Matt has been serving as director of the physician advisor program for the health system since 2013, where he played a key role in establishing a nationally recognized program for utilization review.
Together, Dr. Zsenits and Matt’s shared responsibilities and strategic focus are to expand the physician advisor program system-wide and design and implement a system-wide health informatics program that will further optimize CareConnect for the benefit of our patients and all those involved in safe patient care.
