John Valvo, MD, urologist and chief of robotic surgery, and his team at Rochester General are ranked in the top two percent nationally for robotic procedures since 2004 when the RGH robotic program first launched. Additionally, the team is recognized as an innovative leader across the local region and also in the northeast where they rank in the top one percent!
- Completed 10,000 robotic-assisted surgeries (and counting) with two da Vinci Surgical robots.
- Expanded program to include Unity and Newark-Wayne Community hospitals.
