CONGRATULATIONS: Elizabeth Duxbury, RN, Receives International Award


Elizabeth Duxbury, MS, RN, ACNS-BC, and clinical nurse specialist at Rochester General Hospital, recently won the Marie Hippensteel Lingeman Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice from Sigma Theta Tau International.

Liz’s career achievements and leadership and teaching skills led colleagues Julie Albright Gottfried, DNP, RN, CNS CPNP-PC, Rochester General Hospital, and an employee from Crouse Hospital to nominate her for the award.

It’s awarded every two years by Sigma Theta Tau International, a global honor society for nurses that includes more than 150,000 members from 90 countries.
